We’re located in the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains, a 70,000-hectare nature reserve with peaks of over 2,000 meters, unspoiled valleys and fascinating limestone karst highlands. Well-maintained trails pass through beech woods and pasture lands where wolves, wildcats, wild goats, eagles and peregine falcons live. Our spacious farmhouse (Casale, in Italian) is deep in the countryside, along a road that leads to the highest mountains in Umbria. It is only one kilometer from the town of Norcia, in the land where Saint Benedict was born. The landscape around us is a series of valleys, rivers and ancient roads that crossed the Apennine mountains between Umbria and the Marche region. Our land is rich in art, history, culture and traditions that make a visit here a unique experience. It is a perfect base for visiting many of Italy's most beautiful towns. Nearby are unspoiled medieval villages. |
